Presbyterian Health Physicians (PHP) is a name you can trust in local healthcare. A major independent physician association, PHP has more than 140 primary care physicians and 110 specialists with established practices throughout this area—from Whittier to Pico Rivera and Downey, from La Mirada to Hacienda Heights.

Since PHP accepts all of the major health plans and is affiliated with Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, our doctors become your link to the region’s most respected and comprehensive network of healthcare services.

PHP Physicians. To help you find a doctor, just click on the “Physicians” tab at the top of the page. You can then search by doctor name, location, specialty, or any number of combinations that meet your needs. One of our friendly staff will be available to assist you in locating the right doctor for you and help facilitate any change you may need with your health plan.

Specialty Care Centers. PHP’s mission is to make quality health services accessible to all who need them. In keeping with the Presbyterian Promise to ensure the health of our communities, PHP has opened three Specialty Centers to provide family health, women’s health, and children’s health services in and for the community. Under the medical supervision of PHP doctors and fully licensed as community clinics, the Specialty Centers are able to offer services at low cost or on a sliding scale to underserved individuals and families in the area. The Specialty Centers participate in a large number of private insurance plans, PPOs, HMOs, as well as Medi-Care Healthy Families, making it easy for you to obtain healthcare with minimum time and expense. Trained staff at the Specialty Centers can also provide preliminary screening for insurance qualification and offer counsel and assistance to appropriate resources for patients who do not have adequate insurance.
